Turkey's Instability would embolden Iran to interfere in region's countries: Arab League

Arab countries say Iran is meddling in their affairs

Arab countries say Iran is meddling in their affairs

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul-Gheit has voiced hope that Turkey's stability will not be affected by a failed coup attempt in the country.
'Turkey is a major country and it's important to remain stable,' Abul-Gheit said during a TV interview with an Egyptian satellite channel on Sunday.
'If stability in Turkey is shaken, it will affect stability in Arab countries as Syria and Iraq,' he said.
On Friday night, renegade elements within Turkey's military attempted to stage a coup against the government.
Although the coup was soon put down by the country's legitimate authorities and security apparatus, 208 people were martyred in the ensuing violence.
Abul-Gheit, a former Egyptian foreign minister who took office as the new head of the pan-Arab body earlier this month, warned that instability in Turkey would embolden Iran to interfere in the affairs of the region's countries.
Arab countries accuse Iran of meddling in their affairs.
In recent months, tension escalated between the two sides since Saudi Arabia cut its diplomatic ties with Tehran earlier this year after two of its diplomatic missions in Iran were attacked by
Saudi Arabia and Arab allies accuse Tehran of arming Yemen's Houthi group, which overran capital Sanaa and other provinces in 2014.
The conflict in war-torn Syria has further worsened Arab-Iranian relations.
Iran is a major backer of the Assad regime, while Saudi Arabia supports the Syrian opposition.

UN Security Council on Monday, affirmed that Iran is violating the nuclear deal

The United Nations on Monday accused Iran of repeating violating international law by sending weapons to militias in the Middle East.
The Undersecretary General of the United Nations for Political Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman said that Iran violated international law by sending weapons to militias in Iraq.
The report pointed to shipment of weapons shipment that was seized by the US Navy in the Gulf of Oman.
Also, according to a special report submitted by Secretary General Ban Ki moon of the United Nations to the UN Security Council on Monday, affirmed that Iran is violating the agreement reached with world powers on its nuclear development program a year ago.
The French and US representatives said that Iran conducted its fourth ballistic missile test since signing the nuclear agreement with the United States and five other world powers last year.
The report mentioned an intercepted Iranian arms shipment to rebels in Yemen and a violation of travel restrictions on Iranians such as Gen. Qassem Suleimani, the head of its terrorist listed Quds Force, who was recently seen in Iraq.

White House: Funding Hezbollah will continue to give Iran difficulties with int’l markets

WASHINGTON - If Iran continues to allegedly fund terrorism, including supplying resources to Hezbollah, it will have a negative business impact on Iran, a White House spokesman said on Monday.
“Financial actors do not want to do business with a country that is funding terrorism,” White House principal deputy press secretary Eric Schultz said during a briefing.
“So we call on Iran to not only stop doing this because it is not good for national security and they are supporting terrorism, but we call on Iran to stop doing it because it is not in their interest either,” Schultz said.

White House principal deputy press secretary Eric Schultz
The United States will continue to use all the tools at its disposal, including sanctions, to target Hezbollah, which is a designated foreign terrorist organization, he said.
“We believe our designations over the past year designating Hezbollah procurement networks, financial and commercial front companies and other entities have been highly effective,” Schultz said. The sanctions regime passed earlier this year further builds on that and has created a climate throughout the world where financial institutions are rejecting Hezbollah from their institutions, he added.
“But … if Iran is going to continue to support Hezbollah, Hezbollah is going to continue to have a funding stream and resources,” Schultz said. “That is why it is all the more important that if Iran wants access to international markets, they are going to need to curb their own behavior.”

Maldives cuts diplomatic ties with Iran

Maldives foreign ministry said policies that Iran were pursing in the Middle East were detrimental to peace and security in the region

Maldives foreign ministry said policies that Iran were pursing in the Middle East were detrimental to peace and security in the region

COLOMBO- The Maldives has joined its key financial backer Saudi Arabia in cutting diplomatic ties with Iran, accusing it of undermining peace and security in the Gulf region.
The Maldives foreign ministry said policies that Iran were pursing in the Middle East were 'detrimental to peace and security in the region', without giving details.
In a statement issued late Tuesday, the ministry said it was severing ties because stability in the Gulf was 'also linked to stability, peace and security of the Maldives'.
The Indian Ocean archipelago officially established diplomatic ties with Iran in 1975.
However last month Maldives President Abdulla Yameen received Iran's new ambassador to the Indian Ocean region, Mohammed Zaeri Amirani, who is based in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo.
After that meeting, Yameen said he hoped the two countries could strengthen ties and that the Maldives, made up of 340,000 Sunni Muslims, could start importing oil from Iran.
Saudi Arabia has recently stepped up financial support for the Maldives by pledging $50 million in funding for a military housing project on the island nation, the Maldivesindependent.com website reported.
Maldives was also seeking $100 million from Riyadh for an expansion of its main airport, the local news website said.
In January Saudi Arabia and Iran severed diplomatic relations. Riyadh cut ties with Tehran after Iranian demonstrators burned its embassy and a consulate.

NO TO EXECUTION’; an open letter to the Italian Prime Minister visiting Iran

Mrs. Pakravans open letter to the Italian Prime Minister visiting Iran

Mrs. Pakravans open letter to the Italian Prime Minister visiting Iran

Mrs. Sho’leh Pakravan, the mother of Reyhaneh Jabbari has posted a critical open letter on the internet criticizing Italian Prime Minister Mateo Renzi’s visit to the mullahs’ ruled Iran.
Reyhaneh Jabbari was a 26-year-old girl that was executed in 2014 for defending herself against an attempt by an agent of the ministry of intelligence and security (MOIS) to rape her. Reyhaneh was 19 years old on that day when she was lured by this diabolical man… and the events led to his death and the arrest and 7 years imprisonment of Reyhaneh, and finally to her heartbreaking death by hanging.

Reyhaneh Jabbari

The following is the translation of Mrs. Pakravan’s open letter.

Italian Prime minister is visiting Iran, perhaps to relay the message of thousands of people from around the world who have been stunned and frustrated of hearing so many executions are being carried out in this country. Or perhaps his visit would carry Pope’s message who has called for abolition of death penalty all over the world. He is probably coming to Iran to say stop public executions, or maybe he wants to say at least stop the execution of juvenile offenders.
Or maybe the subject of execution would not come up in his talks with his counterparts, instead he is going to talk about the amputation of limbs in prisons as a punishment. No, maybe he wouldn’t say anything about that either, talking about such things would sour their meetings, but he could talk about preventing religious and ethnic minorities from being evicted from universities, or perhaps he would urge the authorities to release the dissident cleric Ayatollah Boroujerdi and Mohammad-ali Taheri who have been put behind bars for having distinct beliefs than the ruling elite. Or he may not even talk about that. But then, why is he coming anyway? Oh! I see, he probably wants to go to prisons and ask about political prisoner, Narges Mohammadi and find out about her health and how would it taste to be separated from her two small children for about two years, or may visit Hossein Ronaghi, another political prisoner who is on hunger strike despite severe kidney failure. Or he wants to know about Miss Atena Faraghdani, an artist and a child’s rights activist who has been put behind bars for 12 bloody long years just for her critical paintings.

Mohammad-ali Taheri

He would probably say that torture is a bad practice. People must not be tortured or to be put through anything that is perceived as torture, it is wrong to beat people or to hang them from ceiling.
No, I don’t think he would visit prisoners, he probably drives around streets of Tehran and tell his Iranian counterparts, during his meetings, to do something for these street kids who are running around barefooted and beg people for some money. No, this is not true, his car windows are tinted dark and he wouldn’t be able to see anything outside.

Ayatollah Boroujerdi

Truly, more I think, less I understand why he is coming to Iran. The only possible reason would be for money, trade, oil, sanctions and things like that. I don’t know. Perhaps this prime minister is a good man and talks about all these issues. In that case he would place himself in the heart of future Iranians and people would remember him as a good man.
The Italian Prime Minister or any other official who visits Iran must remember that Iran has the highest number of executions in the world per capital. In Iran extracting confessions are still done under torture and duress. It is good to remind them that ordinary Italian people and pope expressed great concern over the execution of my daughter, Reyhaneh and demanded her death sentence be revoked. But despite all those cries, my Reyhaneh was hanged.
And now, the Italian artist, Johnny Rodary inspires me. He wants to build shops in the city to sell hope to people. I will visit his shop to buy some of his hopes, regardless of the fact that all my hopes and inspirations were buried when my Reyhaneh was laid to rest. No, as the matter of fact I will buy all his stocks of hope so it would encourage me to think that this Italian Prime Minister’s visit to Tehran is for human rights and services as well as financial and economic issues, so it would give us hope that this visit has some good aspects and not only pocketing our country’s wealth in return for keeping silence against an infectious disease called EXECUTION.
Perhaps he, too, would stand on our side and accept our invitation to wish for an Iran without EXECUTION, and say NO TO EXECUTION, NO TO TORTURE…

Kuwait Parliament rises against Iran’s terrorist threats

Mullahs’ regime security forces demolished a social club belonging to the Christian community of the capital Tehran. According to a statistics, more than 300 churches and Christian religious congregations have been destroyed or brought down in mullahs’ ruled Iran and dozens more are left half destroyed without permit to rebuild or repair. Concerning the external policy by Mullah's regime in Iran its meddling in Arab countries still continue
The Kuwait-based al-Ray daily published a piece on Sunday, September 6th saying following terrorist threats and conspiracies by the Iranian regime against Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, Kuwait lawmakers are now insisting on the necessity to escalate security cooperation.
Kuwait MPs said the security package signed by the Gulf Cooperation Council Foreign Ministers in 2012 has yet to be adopted by the [Kuwait] Parliament and it should be adopted by this house. Government officials are seeking the adoption of the GCC security package by the Parliament.
Kuwait MP Dr. Abdulrahman al-Jiran called for a Kuwait Parliament emergency session to adopt the GCC security package.
“Now that Iran is advancing its expansionist agenda, to confront this we need to adopt the security package. The GCC states are a united entity that cannot be divided. The rulers of Tehran are against the GCC unity and have attempted to create divides amongst them,” he said.
Abdulrahman al-Jiran added Iran has accepted and trained militants and terrorist networks to gain control over the of GCC countries, and this has threatened our security and stability. Iran only understands the language of force, he said.

Obama’s negative performance

By: Iran Reporter
June, 3, 2015

Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act is now on its way to the White House for a reluctant signature by President Obama. He was forced to accept, by overwhelming votes in both chambers, Congress’s constitutional role in reviewing any nuclear deal with Iran and the lifting of any compressional imposed sanctions. Now the hardest work begins.
The president must either negotiate an agreement that will permanently prevent an untrustworthy Iranian regime from acquiring nuclear weapons—or continue his wrong direction that will lead to a nuclear Iran. No doubt that Congress will stop him! Now, more Americans are viewing President Obama’s performances negatively, according to a new survey.
The CNN/ORC poll finds that 45 percent approve of Obama’s tenure, while 52 percent disapprove. Those numbers reveal rising discontent with Obama’s White House since April, CNN said. Back then, 48 percent approved of the president while 47 percent did not.The latest sampling also shows growing worries that the U.S. is heading in the wrong direction.A key factor in Obama’s falling job rating may stem from his handling of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Iranian Ayatollahs sit at the nexus of nearly every major global threat: the Syrian crisis, the rise of ISIS, the resurgence of AL Qaeda, the crisis in Iraq that threatens gains won with U.S. blood, the chaos in Yemen that is adding to the threat of an all-out regional war,Now Iranian Ayatollahs try to hijack the commercial cargoes in Arab sea a few miles near the American Navy.!!!To allow this monster to acquire nuclear weapons and the ability to deploy them against Arab countries - and preaching their radical Islamic organizations—would constitute an incalculable threat to global security. It would set off a nuclear-arms race that would virtually guarantee a regional war with global implications.
Obama tries to lift the international sanctions from Ayatollahs before proof that they are in compliance. Can the world have a good faith agreement with a regime that for decades has lied and cheated? Can the international community ever trust a regime that has lied for decades and still has not come clean about its nuclear program?
Will Iranian Ayatollahs be required to demonstrate changed behavior—with respect to their nuclear ambitions and their sponsorship of terrorism?
Up to now Mr. Obama has helped Iran to approach the Bomb!! The question is, this man neither does not know the rule of such a dangerous game nor has his own benefits to sacrifice Iranian people on the one hand and to play with the American dignity on the other!! Secret nuclear sites in Iran would not help Mr., Obama!! At all, His best choice is to side the Iranian people who seek for freedom and democracy for decades but Obama and his allies have deprived them to have democracy in their country.
President Obama’s performances need to be reevaluated. He needs to side the Iranian opposition group instead of siding the Ayatollahs, to be accepted by his own people.
